I grew up in the remote town of Kotzebue, Alaska, where the northern light’s glow and the endless horizon shaped my fascination with photography. With no formal training, I taught myself to read light, compose frames, and capture motion by shooting everything from the local high‑school wrestling matches to the silent migrations of caribou across tundra. Photography has always been my happy place and passion—each click a moment of pure joy that fuels my creative drive.
